Admissions

We’d love you to consider sending your child to Morpeth Road!

We are a non-selective school for the local community. As such, the admissions policy reflects the locally co-ordinated admissions scheme. After admitting students with a statement of SEN, followed by ‘Looked After’ children, the admissions policy for the Academy prioritises brothers and sisters of children at the school and those living closest to the Academy.

Our admissions number (PAN) has recently changed to 30 which means this year we will admit up to 30 pupils into our Reception class.

Reception and In Year Transfers

Applying for a place at Morpeth Road is easy. Like most Northumberland schools, it is handled by the Admissions team at the local authority.  All the details you need are here.

Two-year old provision and Nursery

We are really fortunate to have both two-year old provision available on site, along with spaces in our Nursery. Please contact the school office directly if you would like to know more about either of these or to arrange a visit.
